IRCP grants : the results!

In 2019, IRCP joined forces with OPT-ECO to organize the young researchers’ grants. Two scholarships were awarded this year. Here are the results:

Name Degree – state Project of research
Lily Fogg PhD – Australie Illuminating the impact of light pollution on the visual development of reef fish in French Polynesia
Simon Brandl Post-doctorant – Canada Effects of coral bleaching on cryptobenthic fishes, coral reef food webs, and ecosystem services

The winners of these scholarships will soon come to French Polynesia, at Criobe, to carry out their research project. In addition to a scientific action, they will also carry out awareness actions around their research theme in order to share with the public their scientific questioning and, perhaps, the beginning of answers.
