IRCP grants : the results!
In 2019, IRCP joined forces with OPT-ECO to organize the young researchers’ grants. Two scholarships were awarded this year. Here are the results:
Name | Degree – state | Project of research |
Lily Fogg | PhD – Australie | Illuminating the impact of light pollution on the visual development of reef fish in French Polynesia |
Simon Brandl | Post-doctorant – Canada | Effects of coral bleaching on cryptobenthic fishes, coral reef food webs, and ecosystem services |
The winners of these scholarships will soon come to French Polynesia, at Criobe, to carry out their research project. In addition to a scientific action, they will also carry out awareness actions around their research theme in order to share with the public their scientific questioning and, perhaps, the beginning of answers.
